the 9 and 10 year old all star team ran the district undefeated!! They are headed for Ironton Ohio for the state games where I have no doubt they will represent painesville and district 1 very well. You guys ROCK, you are the best, who said all the talent left Painesville? Did I mention undefeated? I am so proud of all of you.

The 2010 season is going to be GREAT!!!!! Six lucky teams will have the opportunity of a life time to play on a professional ball field at Classic Park. We are working with the Lake County Captains to make this happen. Watch for more information on the web site and in the newsletter for more details. Welcome back to all returning board members and new members coming in. We look forward to another wonderful season in 2010!

I played Little League in Painesville from 1977-1978 and then moved out to California. I'm glad to see that baseball is still being played in Painesville. Good Luck in spring of 2010. |

I want to extend a Thank You from the Calhoun Family for naming your May Classic after my parents. I hope to be able to be in attendance the last day of the inaugurul Classic Tournament it is always a thrill to attend a Painesville LL function. When I visit Painesville it is never without a trip past Calhoun Field and always a pleasure to see the many improvements you have made.
