Major Division (ages 10-12)
The goal of the Major Division is to develop each player's ability, work on sportsmanship, and learn the rules of baseball. Pitching is from a 46-foot rubber and base paths are 60-feet. Players will have a minimum of one at bat and six defensive outs. Games are played on weeknights and make-up games are on Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons. One special game under the lights is scheduled for each team at 8:00 p.m. on a Friday during the season.
If new to the Major Division, a tryout is needed. If returning, players remain on the previous team.
TRYOUTS - Sat. Feb. 29 at Heritage Middle School (135 Cedarbrook Drive) from 7:30-9:00. (Makeup tryouts 3/14). Draft to follow.
PRACTICES start in March.
SEASON BEGINS in April and ends in June.
PLL uses Little League Official regulations and playing rules.
